Notes:

Wm Griffith alternated spending time with his two families, and eventually moved to Kentucky with Agnes and Wm Preston. Agnes and Wm Preston began using the Griffith surname around that time. As far as I have determined, Sidney always used his mother's surname. Wm Griffith was a nephew of Nancy Griffith, another of William Douglas' consorts. There were many cross-marriages among these families!
