OBITUARY: "HERMAN RUSH, 73, DIES IN HOSPITAL
Herman R. Rush, 73, of 1105 Danville Avenue died at 6:50 a.m. inCulver Hospital where he had been a patient for a week. Mr. Rush hadbeen a technical advisor in the purchasing department at the U.S.General Depot in Columbus, Ohio, prior to his retirement. He was bornSept. 27, 1895 at Homer, Ill., son of James and Mary Gilson Rush. Hemarried Ruth Wright March 2, 1920 in Crawfordsville. Mr. Rush was amember of the Christian Church and a 1914 graduate of CrawfordsvilleHigh School. Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. JeanWilliams of Chicago and Mrs. Eleanor Petros of Naperville,Shannondale, and seven grandchildren. funeral Arrangements arepending at Hunt and Son funeral Home."

Hi Sandy!
It was great to see your reply! I'm happy to share all that I have,
though it is not comprehensively documented. My knowledge of Samuel
A. Wright comes from my grandmother and mother's recollections and
some family tree info researched by my aunt. I have several photos of
Samuel as well, though not scanned as yet. One discrepancy with your
posted tree is that the wife of Samuel was Sarah Josephine WATSON, not
WRIGHTMAN. I have a great deal of tree information preceding
Josephine Watson, going back to Holland with a strong connection to
the BANTA family -- back to 1615, if you want it. My grandmother was
Ruth Frances WRIGHT, Samuel and Josie's daughter.
I have attached a .pdf document printed from my genealogy program
Reunion. It details all the information from John W. Wright on down.
It does not include any of the Banta family line that precedes Sarah
Josephine Watson, though as I said above you are welcome to it. As
you see, I have some Douglas family tree info and
I also have been looking for more information on Julia Ann McCoy
without success.
It's great to make contact and I hope this info adds well to yourtree!

OBITUARY: SARAH J. WRIGHT PASSES AWAY AFTER VERY LONG ILLNESSFuneral Services for Well Known Woman Will be Held on Sunday.
The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Josephine Wright, wife of Samuel A. Wright,she died at her home, 704 South Grant Avenue, at 8:30 o'clock Thursdaynight, will be held from the Hunt & Ratcliff funeral home on GrantAvenue at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The body has been removed tothe funeral home and friends will be welcome to call at any time.Mrs. Wright died of complications after a four year illness. She wasborn on October 24, 1864, in Parke County, Indiana, the daughter ofRichard and Sarah Frances Watson, and was married to Samuel A. Wrighton August 26, 1896. Mrs. Wright belonged to the Trinity Methodistchurch. She is survived by her husband and six children, Mrs. BrucePeck, of Indianapolis; A.W. Wright, of West Point, Ga.; Mrs. H.R.Rush, of New York city; James B. Wright, of Sandusky, OH., and MissMary Wright, a school teacher at Weirton, W. Va., who is now at thehome here."
