My father was born in Kent County, England. He came to America at theage of seven with three brothers and two sisters. He lived with onesister in Canada until he was old enough to go out on his own. He gotwork on a farm near Aledo, Illinois. The owner of the farm became mygrandparents as he married their daughter. One brother stayed inEngland and one went to Australia.
