  1. 1.  Sir Thomas (1st Bt) Miller was born about 1635 (son of Alderman Mark Miller and Mary Comber); died on 2 Dec 1705.

    Notes:

    He was M.P. for Chichester and Mayor in 1688.
    He gained the title of 1st Baronet Miller on 29 October 1705.

    THOMAS MILLER, Esq. representative in parliament for the city of Chichester 1688 and 1690, had a large fortune left him by his uncle, was knighted, and advanced to the dignity of a Baronet by Queen Anne, in the fourth year of her reign. He married Hannah, daughter of , by whom he had Sir John, his successor, and other children; for one of his daughters was wife of John Farrington, of Chichester, Esq. eldest son of Sir Richard Farrmgton, of Chichester, Bart. Sir Thomas died Dec. 2, 1705, aged 70, and his lady Jan. 11, 1706, aged 70.
