1. Andrew (1st of Timpendean) Douglas was born before 1479; and died.
2. James (of Bonjedward) Douglas died after 1479.
3. William (5th of Bonjedward) Douglas was born about 1494; died after 1580.

Changed his name to Douglas abt 1404 when his mother was granted Bonjedward via the representations of half-sister, Isabella, Countes of Mar. Sometimes referred to as John of Douglas.

George Douglas (who divided his estate between his sons James, who inherited Bonjedward, and Andrew, who inherited Timpendan) is a probable son, but possible grandson.

Described as a nephew of the Countess of Mar - which his son John would have been. Was he a nephew of Margaret Mar, rather than isabel?
