  1. 1.  Daniel Dawson (son of James Dawson).

    Notes:

    Lived at Moneens but, owing to a fire, was obliged to give up his land and emigrate with his family to New Brunswick. Another farm still remained in the possession of the family until about 1850 when it passed out of their hands.

  1. 2.  James Dawson was born in 1701 in Drummany, Co. Monaghan, Ireland (son of Richard Dawson); and died.

    Notes:

    Settled in the County Cork.

    Children:
    1. Richard Dawson was born in 1727 in Moneens, Co, Cork, Ireland; and died.
    2. James Dawson was born in 1729 in Moneens, Co, Cork, Ireland; and died.

  1. 4.  Richard Dawson was born about 1669 in Drummany, Co. Monaghan, Ireland (son of John Dawson); died in 1753.

    Notes:

    Richard Dawson (2) was twice married. He settled in Moneens in Kinalmeaky. Richard and James were children by his first wife.

    Children:
    1. 2. James Dawson was born in 1701 in Drummany, Co. Monaghan, Ireland; and died.

  1. 8.  John Dawson was born about 1643 in Drummany, Co. Monaghan, Ireland (son of John Dawson); and died.

    According to Franklin Kidd, given a grant of land in Drummany, Co. Monaghan. Officer in Cromwell?s armies. Compiled by Dr Franklin Kidd at Cambridge, England in 1958 from O?Hare?s Irish Pedigrees, 3rd Edition 1888 and other sources.

    1. 4. Richard Dawson was born about 1669 in Drummany, Co. Monaghan, Ireland; died in 1753.
