Colonel Stephen Tillman's "Tilghman-Tillman Family 1225-1945" has John
Tillman and Millicent White as parents of Isaac Tillman, husband of
Rebecca McDonald. He lists their children as Roger b.1752, John b. 5 Oct
    1768, Isaac b. 1769, Jarratt b. 1770, Blumer b. 1772, Millicent b. 1774,
Sarah b. ??, Charlotte, and Elizabeth. Obviously, someone has adopted the
    wrong Isaac Tillman.

James David Tillman, Jr. names these same children in his "Tillman &
Hamilton Family Records with Their Many Ancestral Lineages, Volume
    Three".

Beatrice Mackey Doughtie has different information in "McDonald, Kimball,
Wade, Leak, and includes source material that gives her account more
weight, in my opinion. On page 52, she quotes the will of Jesse Tillman
(Kershaw Equity Roll 131-5) , which refers to Isaac as Jesse's brother.
The will mentions Sarah, Jesse's wife; Isaac, Jesse's brother; Susannah
Brown, Jesse's sister; Nancy McDonald, Jesse's sister; Polly Lee, Jesse's
sister; and William Tillman, another brother.

She also states that " Elizabeth McDonald b. 5 Mch 1777 d. after the
birth of her youngest son. She m. as the 1st wife of Isaac Tillman, Sr.
    b. c1769 d. 1 Jan 1816, Lancaster District, South Carolina. After the
death of his 1st wife, Isaac Tillman, Sr. m-2, Rebecca Perry, widow of
Josiah Perry of Kershaw District, S.C. who left will sg. 1 October 1812
pr. 20 Oct. 1812. (Kershaw Co. S.C.: Equity Roll, 131-5)."

And later stattes: "The Perry family data indicates Rebecca Perry, widow
of Josiah Perry of Kershaw District, South Carolina was nee McDonald
before her marriage to Josiah Perry, and that her full name was Elizabeth
    Rebecca McDonald".

Mrs. Doughtie lists the children of Isaac Tillman and Rebecca McDonald as:
Middleton McDonald Tillman c1798; Daniel McDonald Tillman etc (as shown
    on family page)
