• Notes

  Likely lived in Welcome Lake when John William was born in 1890. Probably born in Damascus, Wayne Co., PA since that is where Warren was in 1850. By the 1910 census Amza was dead and Louise, his widow, is living with her son John and his wife Minnie in Texas Twp. where it appears, John William was renting. William K is 1 1/2 years old and living with them. in 15 Sept 1892 column of Lake View (I have no idea where that is) Mr and Mrs Herbert Branning spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs Amzy Case at Indian Orchard. from 6 Feb 1908 "Along the Delaware" column--Amasa Case, who spent all his early life near here, was killed in a stone quarry near Mast Hope on 16 Jan. A very heavy stone fell on him and he died a few hours after. He was 52 years old and is survived by his wife and three sons. (Sent by Emily Hallock).
