The Austin Case mentioned below has the same birth date. At WWW.Genforum.Genealogy.Com, Case Forum #2708 : Posted by: Dottie (Case) Unruh Date: November 23, 2001 In Reply to: A.J.Case,Waverly,Iowa - family photo found by Renee of 2725 I was so excited to read this posting. I believe it could be my great-great grandfather, Austin John Case who married a woman in Dodgeville (Des Moines Co.), IA in 1844. He would have been 24. The most exciting part of this is, Renee posted the message on Nov. 19; my birthday is Nov. 19; and Austin Case's birthday was Nov. 19 (1820). Is this not eerie? I would be more than happy to pay for the photo and postage! ------------------------------------------------------------- I have found out persons in photo are; A.J.[Arad Joy]Case & wife Julia,he married Julia Morris Prentice Case Louis Case Thompson Case Helen & Mae Nickols Nancy Case wrote on back & that she lived in the house & went to school in Waverly,Iowa. Many people not named.Found several of them are buried at the Harlington cemetery Waverly,Iowa.
