  James Douglas 1764 Jedburgh was a Carrier. He was the son of George Douglas and Agnes 'Annie' Oliver. James had three children with his wife Jean/Jane Oliver - George, Adam and Ninian/Ninion. This next George had eight children with his wife Jenet/Janet Caverhill - the daughter of Thomas Caverhill and Isabel Renwick. One of the children of George and Jenet/Janet Douglas was a George Douglas born c1823 in Jedburgh. There was a George Douglas born in about 1823 at Gilliestongue Farm near Langlee, Jedburgh and I am wondering if this is the George who I am looking for?
