  "CLIFTON HALL CLEVIDENCE, was born about 1826 in Meade County,Kentucky. He was a farmer and a Baptist. He was married to MarthaJane Riley on May 21, 1854, in Meade County. He was 27 1/2 years oldand Martha was 19. She was a daughter of H.S. and Mary Riley. Sheand Clifton had three children, none of whom lived to maturity. Theywere: richard, William H., and John Hall. they were buried in theWolf Creek Cemetery in Meade County, Kentucky."
