  At WWW.Genforum.com Sherwood Forum: I am descended from Capt. Samuel Sherwood and Rebecca Burr's youngest son Thomas. My descent is Thomas 1, Matthew 2, Samuel 3, Thomas 4, Amos 5, Fanton 6, Amos Osborne 7, Granville B. 8, Edwin Albert 9, Reuel Edwin 10, Elliott B. 11, me The first several generations of Thomas 1 can be found in "History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield" by Donald Lines Jacobus. Thomas 1's first wife's name was Alice and I am also descended from her son Thomas. Thomas 1's second wife was Mary, last name unknown (it was NOT Fitch).
