McBain, 74, 103 38th St., Moline, died at 2 yesterdaymorning in Moline Public Hospital, where she had been a patient 5 ?days. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 tomorrow afternoon andevening at the Wendt Brothers Funeral Home, Moline, where arrangementsare pending. Since the spring flood on the Mississippi, Mrs. McBainhad been living at 3919 32nd Ave., Moline. She was born Jan. 5, 1891,in Shenandoah, Iowa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Babcock, andattended schools in Sioux City, Iowa. She was married to Guy FrancisHancock in the fall of 1908, and he died in the summer of 1933. InSeptember, 1936, she was married to Clyde McBain in Moline. Survivingare the widower; two sons, William Hancock and Russell Hancock, bothof Moline; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
