"Bud died of Diabetes, during his life time he survived typhoid feverand pneumonia three times. Funeral services were held at the home,conducted by A.G. Hickman. A crowd consisting of something over twohundred people were present and followed the remains to the old familycemetery on the old homestead, where the deceased was born and reared,where the body was laid to rest."
