  E-mail from B. Graham, dated: Monday, May 12, 2008 states, "Accordingto a family member, Nellie--both Lewis I. Jacobs and his son Matthew"Matty" Jacobs both died during a flu epidemic in December 1918. Bothare buried together at the New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, MercerCounty, Illinois." Also, in the e-mail was a listing of some of thechildren of both Lewis I. & Andrew Jacobs by Florence; Thisinformation was obtained by B. Graham from Nellie Jacobs of Chicago.The information was similar in many respects to the research that hasbeen done on the family so far. Lena), and probablyLewis Edward Jacobs (son of Lewis I. & Florence) are also buried inthe same Lot 315 in the New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, MercerCounty, Indiana. The only stone on the lot is that of Peter H. &Florence Mae Hand Juhl's, and the funeral home markers are no longerpresent on the lot 315.
