- NOTE: Establishing that a Jacob Wall lived in Culpeper County,Virginia was not difficult, because there are a few rare documentswhere he does appear. Plus, there are other researchers who havegraciously shared their family information. It does seem though thatthere may be more than one Jacob Wall perhaps or he married twice; Butcare needs to be taken to distinguish the possibility of two gentlemeninstead of just one. However, I have added the additional informationobtained on wives, and children just in case the two Jacob Wall/Wallsthat there is conflicting information on, end up being one in the sameperson's after more research. And with all families, some of thechildren stayed with the parents, but others migrated to other states. It is quite possible that Joseph may have gone to North Carolina andGabriel stayed in Kentucky. And, as I always like to point out, research continues in order to ferret out as much truth about thefamily?s origins and destinations as possible. "Somehow I received a copy of this last post. I have a JacobWall/Walls in my line for whom I have a note b. 1749 Culpeper County,Virginia. No parents known at this point. My link to him is believedto be a son Joseph Walls b. 29 Oct 1772 Culpeper Co. VA d. 28 Jul 1852Wilkes County, North Carolina. This Joseph married Katherine Wyattprobably in Wilkes Co. Katherine is believed to have been the daughterof on Aaron Wyatt b. 1765 Rowan Co. NC. I don't know if Jacob Wallsrelocated to NC, but this son Joseph certainly went to Wilkes Co. Hopethis is of some help."
