Sarah Turner, 91, of Moline, died Feb. 9, 2005, at Heartland HealthCare Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Esterdahl Mortuary, 660138th Ave., Moline, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burialwill be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. In lieu of flowers andstatuary, memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation.
Sarah was born May 31, 1913, in Moline, daughter of William andBlanche Griffin Ferry. She married Ivan Turner July 18, 1931, inMoline. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Sarah was a seamstress for Temple's Sporting Goods in Moline for morethan 30 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking wedding cakesand flower gardening. She loved her children, grandchildren,great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Survivors (and spouses) include her daughters, Margaret E. Brown,Winnebago, Ill., and Pamela (Leonard) Mahieu, Moline; son, Gregory(Lisha) Turner, Moline; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; twogreat-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Asbury Ferry, Aledo. Shewas preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Leila Jeanine Tygret;and grandsons, Gene Brown and Nathan Turner.
