There's more interesting stuff in my grandmother's old handwritten summary. I wonder
how much of it is correct.
Here's what I inherited for Nathaniel b. 1630 in Bramford England. Died 2/27/1705.
Married Ann Miller in 1652, she died on 7/6/1680. On 4/16/1682 he married Elizabeth
Pierpont. He was the son of Nathaniel and the brother of Andrew who founded
Hartford CT.
Interestingly, these notes show 9 children born to Nathaniel and Ann: Nathaniel
(1653-1655), Hanna (yes, Hanna, 4/14/55), Andrew (2/14/57,no early death date but
implied), Thomas (7/20/59, named changed from Nathaniel, note death of firstborn),
John, Mary, Andrew, Abagail, Lydia.
I have a line of descent from Nathaniel. His son Thomas with Abigail Maskill begat
Maskill (1/25/1696), who with Abagail Gleason begat Maskill (4/26/1741), who with
Sarah B. Case begat Amasa (6/3/1770), who with ? begat Amasa (2/12/1792), who
with Sybil Olivia Grimes begat Amasa Orestes (6/17/1823), who with Lilles Jane
Seamans begat William Orestes (3/1/1863), who with Julia Isabell Boyd begat no sons
but two daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Lilles Jane, who was my grandmother, and
assembled what info I have.
Some of the info looks like she did some research, and some of it looks like she had
access to the family bible.
