Located at the Hamilton County Court House, Cincinnati, Ohio, inprobate court.

Note: The death date for Samuel was probably 1823 according to thewill date, and not as previously listed as 1833. Also, the birth datefor Samuel may be incorrect as well. The date would make his motherMargaret over 50 years old at time of birth.
Samuel Redinbaugh, Deceased.

It appearing to the Probate Court that on the 2nd day of December AD1823
the last will and Testament of Samuel Redinbaugh, deceased was duly
presented to the Court of Common Pleas in Hamilton County Ohio forProbate
and Record.
And the Record of said will was afterwards by law transferred to the
Probate Court of said County and that the Original Record of such Willwas
destroyed in the burning of the Court House on the 29th day of March AD
1884, but that the Original Will and the endorsements therein and the
Probate thereof ....in the Journal of said Court were preserved, It isnow
ordered by the Probate Court on its own volition that the Record ofsaid
will be and the same is hereby restored from said Original Will,
endorsements and Probate: as provided by Statute in the words andfigures
following to wit:
The State of Ohio Hamilton County SS Hamilton County Pleas. Be it
remembered that on the day and year aforesaid the last will andtestament
of Samuel Redinbaugh late of this County deceased was duly presentedto
this Court for Probate and Record clothed in the words and figuresfollow
to wit-
I Samuel Redenbaugh of the County of Jefferson in the State of Indiana
being of sound mind (and about three words erased with comma) but
considering the uncertainties of life do make and publish this as mylast
will and Testament and I hereby do revoke all former wills by me made.
In the first place I do order and direct that my Executors hereinafter to
be named shall out of my property pay all my just debts and Funeral
expenses and after paying any debts as aforesaid and all othernecessary
charges, and also a certain legacy, of one Hundred dollars hereinafter
mentioned I do dispose of the remainder of my Property in mannerfollowing.
(That is to say). I give devise and bequeath one half of my property
last-aforesaid whether real personal or mixed to the children andheirs of
my wife Maria Redenbaugh to be equally divided between them (that isto
say) to Samuel Hewlick or his legal representatives one share. toPolly
Kenderson or her legal Representative one share. To Anna Mills or her
legal representative one share. (And inserted between lines: toCatherine
Mills or her legal Representative one share) and to Iaac (Isaac)Hewlick
or his legal representatives one share.
Provided however and it is my will. That my wife Maria shall remain inthe
possession of and shall have and enjoy the use and occupancy of the
Property above devised and bequeathed to her children and heirs duringher
natural life. And at her decease and not till decease shall the said
property so devised and bequeathed as above rest in her said heirs.but
the use and occupancy of said property shall till that time be andremain:
hers for the uses and purposes above named.
And I do give devise and bequeath the remaining half of said property,
whether real personal or mixed to my brothers to be equally dividedamong
them that is to say. To John Redenbaugh or his legal representativesone
share. to Frederick Redenbaugh or his legal representatives one share. to
Andrew Redinbaugh or his legal representatives one share. To Philip
Redinbaugh or his legal representatives one share. to HenryRedenbaugh or
his legal representatives one share. (Inserted abobe HenryRedenbaugh's
line: and Adam Redinbaugh or his legal representatives one share.)And I
do give and bequeath to Samuel Mills the sum of (inserted above thisline:
Peter and Anna Mills the sum of) One Hundred dollars to be paid to himor
his guardian for his use. By my Executors at the time when the a foresaid
property shall be divided And I do hereby appoint Frederick Redinbaughand
Peter Mills. The Executors of this my last will and testament

Signed and Published by the Testator in the presence of thesubscribers
this twenty ninth day of March 1823 at Cincinnati in the County of
Hamilton, Ohio Benjamin Bassett, P ? Holcomb, E Vlokhkess(Germanscript I

Thereupon on the 2nd day of December AD 1823 Benjamin Bassett, P F/I
Holcomb and EVlokhkess, the subscribing witnesses to the last will and
Testament of Samuel Redinbaugh, late of Jefferson County State ofIndiana,
personally appeared in open Court and were duly sworn and examined
touching? The due execution of said Will as appears from theendorsements
thereon as follows: presented and proven by the subscribing witnesses
admitted of Record. Now here to wit: on the same day our said Courtmade
an order herein as follows: It is further ordered by the Court thatsaid
Will and the Probate thereof be Recorded and the same is now done, andthat
said Record have the same force and effect as said Original Record.Herman
