A son of James Clerk was John Clerk(1790-1856), who married FrancesCay and had a son, James Clerk-Maxwell, who became Professor. James (Sir)Clerk-Maxwell achieved one of the most brilliant achievements of themathematical physic of the XIX century, he's four equations are still nowstricly valid.
