- 1 - Upon the death of Alexander Pearson, 3" of Balmadies, his son James Pearson, 4' of Balmadies (born 3 November 1666 ? died 30 March 1745), who was married to Margaret Lindsay, inherited Balmadies.

2 - James Pierson, fourth of Balmadies, born 3d November, 1666, succeded, and married Margaret, daughter of Sir Alexander Lindsey of Evelick, by whom he had seven sons. She had been preciously married to the Laird of Findowrie. She died in May, 1714. James Pierson died 30th March, 1745.
Jame Pierson, fourth of Balmadies, who died in 1745, executed, in 1739, dispoition of his whole properties, consisting of Belmadies, Lochlands, Barngreen, Berryfold, and Smiddycroft, in favour of his second son, Robert, advocate, containing menions in favour of his eldest son, John, and youngest son, Thomas. John died unmarried in 1763. Robert then came into absolute possession of the property.

3 - Mr. William Pearson's instance by the granting of a charter by William III, 23rd
September, 1696, where-by the estate of Barnegrene and Lochlands passed into the hands of James Peirson, younger of Balmadies, and became incorporated in one free barony of Balmadies.
