However:
The Complete Peerage by G E Cokayne, under "Glamis" (Vol 2, V, page 657)shows Janet (of Angus) Douglas' parents as George (Master of Angus)Douglas and Elizabeth Drummond, and that she was sister of ArchibaldEarl of Angus. Burke's Peerage (106th Ed. p 2735) under "Strathmore &Kinghorne" says she was the sister of the 6th Earl of Angus. In Burke'sPeerage under "Hamilton and Brandon" she is shown with those samerelationships.

Elsewhere Hartnell questions if she was daughter of the son of Archibald(5th Earl of Angus) Douglas.
The question is waiting more information
Much of this information on this line is from Sandi Hartnell who says"Most of the early stuff was compiled by my grandmother's twin sister,Mina Lyon Rife. She dated the material 1956. She did a lot of research, and attributed some of the material from a 3 volumes titled "LyonMemorial". She indicated they were purchased in Boston at Goodspeed BookStore. I visited Glamis Castle about 10 years ago and have guidebooksfrom there that had family information, and I also picked up someinformation from various web sites.
"Janet Douglas (2), second daughter of King Robert, born 1495 in Angus,Scotland, who died by fire publicly on Castle Hill of Edinburgh, July12(17?), 1537. In the first part of the sixteenth century the beautifulwidowed Glamis was imprisoned in Edinburgh Castle with her young Son LordGlamis and her second husband, a Campbell of Skipnish. She was falselyaccused of witchcraft and mixing of potions, and conspiracy to kill KingJames V, by evidence of a perjurer. One version of the story relatedthat another Campbell wish to marry Glamis and told the King tales ofpotions and witchcraft and that on his deathbed he confessed to thefalsehoods. Glamis was condemned to death together with her young son.Campbell of Skipnish was killed trying to escape and Lord Glamis wasreprieved until he came of age, but was kept a prisoner until the King'sdeath. Glamis was found guilty of the trumped-up accusation and onDecember 3, 1540 was burned alive as a witch on the Castle Hill ofEdinburgh 'with great commiseration of the people, being in the prime ofher years, of a singular beauty, and suffering all, though a woman, witha manlike courage, all men conceiving that it was not this fact(witchcraft) but the hatred with the King carried to her brothers and therest of the Douglas clan.'"
