Notes |
- "...The depression hit the Clore's so hard, Loris had to leave DePauw. Both farms, roy's in Jackson township and Laurel's in Cain and VanBuren Township and Parke County, near 1, 500 acres, had to bemortgaged.... In 1935 Roy had to sell his 320 acres ... to his nieceRuby Myers-Owen-Ricker, to keep from losing them. She still farmsthis land where her grandfather, Elijah Clore built and her mother,Mary Jane Clore-Myers and her Uncle Laroy Clore were born."
