Notes |
Married:
- In 1883, Joel and Emma left for Montana. Before the turn of the century, Joel's older sons sold their homesteads in Wisconsin and joined their father. Joel and sons homesteaded on Mill Creek near the mouth of a canyon in Paradise Valley. Joel was a mason and he did the plastering of the Jenning's home in the valley. Joel died on his homestead. His son, Jay, was renting the homestead when his father died. Elmer A. Bonebright helped dig Joel's grave.
