Robert Douglas of Auchenshinnoch

 

Was arrested, south of Preston, on 14th November 1715, when he was part of the Jacobite invasion of England.

Auchenshinnoch is near St John's Town of Dalry, in what is now Kirkcudbirghtshire.

(In 1702, a David McMillan, son of David McMillan, was described as laird of Auchenshinnoch)
