Orlando Douglas, a physician and surgeon of 20 Pleasant Street, Concord, N.H., was born Sept. 12, 1836, in Cornwall, Vermont.

In 1877 he received the degree of M.D. from the University of the City of New York. He served in the eighteenth Missouri Volunteers during the Civil War. He has practiced in New York City; and since 1901 has practiced his profession in New Hampshire.

He was the first president of the New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Consumption; and president of the New Hampshire Orphans' Home. He is the author of Modern Methods of Treating Nasal Catarrh and other medical works
