Sir George Douglas of Mordington has been identified as the brother of James Douglas, Lord Torthorwald, (d Jul 1608) but may have been of an earlier generation, making him a grandson of James, 4th earl of Morton. He married, as her 3rd husband, Margaret Dundas, dau of Alexander Dundas of Fingask, who died at the battle of Pinkie.
