Gladys Arnett Douglas, 97, of Kerens passed away Saturday, March 21, 2005 in Kerens.

Mrs. Douglas was born March 4, 1908 in Cryer Creek.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Douglas; parents, Tom and Flak Arnett; son, Kenneth A. Douglas; grandsons, Randy Waller and Mike Lancaster; twin brother, Travis Arnett; brothers, Johnnie Arnett, Frank Arnett and J.T. Arnett; sister, Willie Mae Davis.

She is survived by daughter, Marie Griffin of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-laws, Dorothy and Bob Ashford of Grand Prairie, Betty and Dan Lancaster of Athens and Wanda and Eddie McNeese of Kerens; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Douglas of Corsicana; sister-in-law, Edna Lee Arnett of Corsicana; grandson, Jacky Griffin of Dallas; grandson and wives, Billy and Beth Griffin of Dallas, Johnny and Charlene Waller of Grand Prairie, Curtis and Teresa McNeese of Kerens, Ken and Cindy Douglas of Corsicana and Brett and Diane Douglas of Corsicana; grand daughter, Sue Windham of Garland; grand daughter and husbands, Carmen and Joe Butler of Athens, Carol and Andy Allen of Kerens and Sharon and Ronny McNeese of Ennis. 28 great grandchldren and 12 great great grandchildren.
