Bishop Frank DouglasBishop Frank Henry Douglas, Jr. is an accomplished bible preacher and teacher, as well as an artist and bassist. He received the designation of Ordained Elder within the Church of God in Christ by the late Bishop E Harris Moore, the jurisdictional prelate of Missouri Western Jurisdiction (August 1992). He is the founding senior pastor of Beth-Judah Ministries Church of God in Christ in Kansas City, Missouri, established in August 1994. He has served the Missouri Western (First) Jurisdiction as various leadership capacities prior to his Episcopal elevation.

Bishop Douglas received his associate degree from Penn Valley Community College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City. He has completed coursework in Greek Studies with the Sheffield Bible College under the tutelage of Pastor George Westlake, Sr.; and received two honorary doctorates from Central America Theological Seminary of Kansas City, Missouri and Fellowship Bible Institute of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Professionally, his resume lists an 18 year career as a logistics and supply chain management and strategic planning professional with various organizations in the disciplines of manufacturing and distribution design modeling, third party logistics management, and most recently medical transit management.

Bishop Douglas proudly serves as the First Vice-President of the Kansas City Concerned Clergy, former Vice-President of the Lions Hiram Young Community Service Center in Independence, Missouri. He has served as former member of the Lions Club of Alphapointe South Kansas City, Executive officer of the Ecumenical Leadership Council—Kansas City, Missouri, the COMBAT anti-drug program, the Sabbaths of Hope – Center for Practical Bioethics, COGIC Scholars and founder of Commissioned Hearts Global Missions.

Bishop Douglas completed his Episcopal Academy Training in October 2007 in Memphis, Tennessee at the historic Mason Temple Church of God in Christ campus. January 25, 2008, consecrated the first native born Missourian and fourth jurisdictional prelate appointment of Missouri Western (First) Jurisdiction. Will complete his life coach training through Dream Releaser Coaching of Atlanta Georgia Dr. Sam Chand prior to Christmas of this 2013 year. Married to Mrs. Carmen Douglas and there are six blended adult children to this union.
