There are three four men named James Archibald Douglas in the Douglas Archives - or are there?

Major General James Archibald Douglas (1862 - 1932) was an officer in the Indian Army. As a Lieutenant, he wrote an intelligence report on the Persian Army, and seems to have been operational in that country.

Professor James Archibald Douglas (born 1866) was the first professor of English and History at Government College, Agra. But did he actually exist? Or was that just a pseudonym?

Judge James Archibald Douglas (1917 - 1984) is probably who he says he is - an Australian Supreme Court judge.
