Reverend Archibald William Douglas 98 June 1870 - 23 March 1955 was Canon of Sheffield Cathedral.

He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Arthur Gascoigne Douglas and Anna Maria Harriet Richards.

He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1897 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).

He was a Chaplain in the service of the Royal Navy during the First World War.

He was Rector between 1918 and 1941 at Tankersley, Hoyland Common, Yorkshire, England, holding the office of Canon of Sheffield Cathedral between 1931 and 1941.

He married Ursula Helen Davies, daughter of Captain Robert Watts Davies, on 23 October 1902. They had two children:
  • Helen St. Bride Douglas b. 14 Jun 1904, d. 18 Dec 1948, who married Commander Killingworth Richard Utten Todd, son of Richard James Utten Todd, on 12 August 1931.
  • Joanna Katharine Douglas1 b. 24 Mar 1912, d. 19 Apr 1984, who married James Utten Todd, son of Richard James Utten Todd, on 20 November 1937.
