•  Sir George Abercrombie Robinson, 1st Baronet (29 March 1758 – 13 February 1832) died on 13 February 1832 at his son William-Scotts house in Dyrham after a long illness. Margaret predeceased him on 21 May 1824. His son Sir George Best Robinson, 2nd Baronet (14 November 1797 – 1855) married Louisa, youngest daughter of Major-Gen. Robert Douglas of Garlston.
•  In St Peter's church which is adjacent to Dyrham Park house, there were plaques to Sir George BEST ROBINSON Baronet 27.1.1835 age 57 and Dame Louisa, Wife of the above, daughter of Major General DOUGLAS 9 August 1845 age 49.
•  Various members of the Robinson family are recoded as being born in Dyrham
•  Admiral James Douglas (1755-1839) was twice married; first in 1793 to Elizabeth, widow of Ambrose Riddall, Capt. RN, and daughter of Robert Scott, Capt. RN, by whom he had one son, James, who died unmarried in India in [11 Oct] 1818. Mrs Douglas having died [May 2,] 1819, the Admiral married secondly in the following year Frances, widow of William Blathwyt of Dyrham Park, Co, Glouc, Esq. The Admiral died 8 Jun 1839 at Dyrham Park, Bath
•  A print, engraving, James Douglas, 4th Earl of Morton (c.1516-1581) by Jacobus Houbraken (Dordrecht 1698 - Amsterdam 1780) hangs in Dyrham, Gloucestershire (Accredited Museum) (National Trust)
