A lorry belonging to Hon. William Douglas, son of Sholto George Watson Douglas, 19th Earl of Morton who had acquired the Loddington estate in (probably) 1880.

Tilton is a short distance from Loddington.

William, who had served as a naval officer in the First World war also ran a small fleet of 'puffers' on Loch Lhinnie, possibly transporting sand and gravel to construction works in Fort William.
