Today we will be travelling to Castle Douglas.

We will call in at Lincluden College, near Dumfries, before going to Threave Castle. A visit to the Douglas Mausoleum will round off the day.

The estimated cost, including entry and coach, is £30.  Access to the castle involves a short walk and a boat trip.

For lunch, you can bring a picnic from your hotel, or visit a local cafe.

  • The book launch has been cancelled. A replacement is being considered.
