Tuesday, 14 September 1965 OBITUARY: ?CLYDE McBAINServices for Clyde McBain, 77, of 103 38th St., Moline, will be at1:30 tomorrow afternoon in the Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. WilliamS. Mellish, pastor of First Congregational Church, will conduct theservice, and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may callat the chapel. Mr. McBain died at 5 yesterday morning in MolinePublic Hospital. Mr. McBain was born Oct. 5, 1887, in Farmington,Iowa, and moved to Moline 60 years ago. He married Nora Hancock inSeptember, 1936, and she died in June of this year. Mr. McBain wasemployed as an inspector at Fairbanks Morse Inc. for more than 40years and was an inspector at the time of his retirement five yearsago. Surviving are two stepsons, William and Russell Hancock, both ofMoline; two sisters, Miss Edna McBain and Mrs. Helen Sutherland, bothof Moline; none step grandchildren; and eightgreat-stepgrandchildren.?
