hotel in Edgefield.Grandpa C. served in 3 wars: Mexican War, Florida Indian War, & 4 yrs in theCivil War, & did not get a scratch, but lost two sons in the Civil War. He was86 yrs. old when he died & buried @ Good Spring. Grandmother 84 yrs. old &buried @ Good Spring." Don't rememberwho Sam.R. married, but there were no children. Lucius Redd married CharlsieClark, Janie Clark Senn's sister. Hicks Redd & Lucius Redd were 1/2d bros.toSamuel & Dolphus.
