Notes |
- Anna wrote notes to her brother Peter in fluent German, and later ingood English. There are several post cards written around 1912 fromAledo, Mercer County, Illinois to Hedwig Juhl in German (mother) andto Peter H. Juhl in english (brother) to Northrup, Martin County,Minnesota. Anna signed the one to her mother Hedwig as, Anna Curry. Anna must have been in her early 20's at the time of the post cards, married, and living in Aledo at the time. It is believed that shemarried Charles H. Curry per the census records. It's difficult todetermine where she died without further research in Mercer County atthe Historical Society. Plans are to do that in the near future. Beaware then that the information obtained from Minnesota may be ofanother Anna Stoltenberg in the family, and not necessarily this Anna.
