Notes |
- Albany records suggest he "ran" the Albany Quarantine Station for a time.
Buried with Emmaline, plot Methodist GA #21, Karrakatta. Stone shows her
name as Emily Ellen, not Emmaline.
Alfred Douglas(s) travelled back to England in 1887, to be present atan
auction of (supposedly) the family's household furniture and household
contents, of the house known as Victoria Villa, near Muttford Bridge,Oulton.
(Near Lowestoft).
However, Cambridgeshire Burial Index 1801 - 1837 shows a Joseph Douglas, age
unkn, buried 1831 at Hinxton Cemetary.
