- Obit from Adrian Daily Telegram states:
Blissfield: Cora A. Case, 89, of Blissfield, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Provincial House in Adrian.
She was born on July 7, 1912, in Beaverton, MI, the daughter of Alfred and Alma (LaNew) Case. Cora was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Riga.
Surviving is one brother, Don Case of Hariagen, TX, and many nieces and nephews. Cora was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold, Luke "Lucky," Leo, and Fred Case, and sisters, Blanche, Alice and Ruth Case.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield, with the Rev. Martin Waigand officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Blissfield. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church of Riga.

Cora never married. At one time, in the mid 1950's she worked in the Rexall Drug Store, "Bailey's" , in Blissfield, MI.

A little article in the Adrian Daily Telegram of June 11, 1985 (Looking Back section) says:
Cora Case purchased Ye Olde Town Pump restaurant in Blissfield from Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Bryant, who operated the business for one year. Miss Case operated a restaurant in Charlotte for four years and previously worked in Blissfield restaurants.
