- The Adrian Daily Telegram, Adrian, MI on Thursday, Dec. 4, 1919, Pg. 3, Col.6 states:
Cornelius C. Case Dies At His Home in Ogden - Blissfield, MI Dec. 4 - Cornelius C. Case, aged 75, passed away yesterday morning at 8:30 after an extended illness. He had spent his entire life in Ogden. Besides the widow, he leaves 2 sons, W. A. Case of Clinton and Alf. C. Case of Ogden. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Zion Church.
He was called "Uncle Curl" by his niece, Hope Case.
Believe his middle name was Christian as on the 1850 Federal Census there was a child 6 yrs old listed as Christian in the home of Bannin Case as well as a Christy age 6 and Betsy age 48 in the home of Clinton Case. They must have been visiting Clinton's home and were counted twice.
