I would suggest (not proven) that both Alfred & Caroline may have diedprior to 1914 since their youngest son John Charles Herbert had takena passage alone with other miners to America at this time. They bothwould have for sure been in their late 60's or early 70's age years bythen if still living. More research will need to be done however.
