Jeremiah Blankenbekerwas born in Virginia, and was a son of Ephraim Blankenbeker, a nativeof Virginia, and among the first settlers of Boone County. FrancesClore was a daughter of Ephraim Clore, a native of Virginia and anearly settler of Boone County. Jeremiah Blankenbeker came to Kentuckywith his parents when small and settled in Boone County, where hefollowed farming, and died about 1853. His wife survived him untilAugust 5, 1886. He was married about 1845, and had two children:Richard T. and Ephraim....etc..."
