Ernest Bowman, 72 retired farmer died at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday Aug 12,1952 at Culver Hospital where he had been a patient for the past 3weeks. He was born Aug 13, 1879 in Jackson Township, Fountain county,Ind son of Jacob and Elizabeth Basham Bowman. He was married in 1921to Sylvia Redenbaugh, who survives. Mr. Bowman was a member of theLutheran Church. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ura Hamm ofHillsboro and Mrs. Bessie Keller of Crawfordsville, and a half-sister,Mrs. Zula Livengood of Hillsboro RR. he was preceded in death by twobrothers. The body is at the Woodrow Funeral Home where it will remainfor services at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery,Covington."

On Feb 14, 1921 he was marr. to SylviaRedenbaugh who survives. He was a member of the Phanuel LutheranChurch of Wallace. Surviving besides the wife, Sylvia, are twosisters, Mrs. Ura Hamm of Hillsboro and Mrs. Bessie Keller ofCrawfordsville; a half sister, Mrs. Zula Livengood of Hillsboro andseveral nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
