- "Kenny MacMillan whose mother was Helen MacRae of the Dewey MacRaesnorthwest of Finch Village was not related to our MacMillans(not a closerelationship). He had lived as a young boy on the Cameron homestead (Lot21-4 Finch Cameron School) with my father's first cousin, Hugh D.Cameron, and his wife, Sadie (he was the ONLY Hugh in the family linefrom Donald). Kenny is a lovely gentleman (not the same as the KennethMacMillan on page 81 of 'Bygone Lochasber' son of AK). His mother, HelenMacRae had been a good friend of my mother, and his sister, Mary, hadlived with my Grandmother MacLean when she was young. "
"I never heard my father(J.G. Cameron)or my Grandmother Cameron(CatharineSutherland Cameron (1854-1949) state that Kenny MacLean descended from adaughter of Donald Cameron(Clunes), killed March 1809, my gtgt. Angus(ofCallich) MacMillan's son, John MacMillan, married the daughter of DonaldCameron(Clunes), Lot 21, 4 Finch, my gtgt
Clifford McRae(now deceased), my cousin, and Kenny MacMillan were lovelygentlemen but, unfortunately, did make errors in family lines. EleanorMacLean moved into Finch c 1944/5 as a Public Health nurse, unrelated tothe area and the relationships."

"Kenny McRae MacMillan(Not the Ken MacMillan mentioned on page 81 ofBygone Lochaber, son of A.K.) who had lived with my Dad's first cousins(Hugh D. Cameron) Lot 21-4 Cameron School when he was young was a distantrelative of my family through Allan Glenpean. Kenny McRae MacMillandescended from a brother to Allan Glenpean, so it's quite a bit outalthough the family was close to mine."
