"I Robert Cample [sic] of Greenwich in the county of Sussex being weak ofbody
but of sound mind and memory make this my last will and testament inmanner
following. first I do order that that part of my place to the east of theold
rode leading to Hunters old ferry be sold the remainder of my land Ileave to
my wife during her lifetime with her riding side saddle with all herwareing
apparrel her bed and furniture with two cows and two horses. The rest ofmy
goods and chattles to be sold in order to discharge my debts theoverplush to
be devided a mungst my children my sons to have two parts to my daughtersone
and after the death of my wife the land to be equally divided equally in
quantaty and quality a mungst my three sons and that my sons do pay toeach
of their sisters the sum of ten pounds each of them paying thisproportion in
manner following, that is to say the eldest dator to be paid one yearafter
the death of their mother and the next eldest two years after and soyearly
til thay are al paid in corse according to their age the youngest to belast
and I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Daniel Campble [sic] andJohn
Barber the whole and sole executors of this my last will and testamentand I
do declare this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness
whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the third day of October inthe
year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred seventy six.
