ALICE LUDLOW
MELLOTT--(CNS)--Following a long illness of heart trouble, Mrs. AliceLudlow, 78, died at her home in Mellott at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov.23,1936. She had been a resident of Mellott five years. Mrs. Luslow wasborn Aug. 20, 1858, in Fountain County where she spent all her life,daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LaBaw. She was thrice married, first toJames French, then to Henry Douglas, and after their deaths was unitedin marriage to Charles Ludlow Mar. 31, 1931. Surviving are thehusband; four sons, Elmer French, Mace, Ind.; Walter Douglas,Danville, Ill.; Homer Douglas, near Stone Bluff; and Everett Douglas,Kingman; one brother, Alonzo, LaBaw, Auburn, Ind. She was a member ofthe Nazarene Church at Hillsboro. Last rites will be at 1 p.m.Wednesday at Osborne Prarie Church, the Rev. Charles Howard, Sterling,Officiating. Burial in a cemetery near the church. J. Fred Parham,Veedersburg, in charge.
