- 1 - Sir John was succeeded in 1676 by his younger son, Sir James -? the elder having predeceased him ? third baronet of Luss, who held the estates only four years, and being a minor, unmarried, left no issue. He was succeeded in 1680 by his uncle, Sir James
2 - In 1679 Frances, Duchess of Lennox, invested Sir James Colquhoun in certain lands which included Tullichintaull & Finart.
[These were both lands previously occupied by MacFarlanes and by 1724 were again as in that year Alexander Graham of Duchray writes"near the head of this parish (Luss) are the houses of Dugal MacFarlan (3) of Tullich and John MacFarlan of Finart.
