GENESEO -- Raymond C. Coppejans, 95, of Geneseo Good SamaritanVillage, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at the home.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at St.Malachy's Catholic Church, Geneseo. The Rev. Michael Pakula willofficiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Atkinson.Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Vandemore FuneralHome, Geneseo, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to St.Malachy's Catholic Church, of which he was a member; St. Anthony'sCemetery; or Good Samaritan Village.
He was born July 9, 1909, in St. Louis, the son of Vital and Pharailde(VanRie) Coppejans. He married Selma M. Mariman Feb. 4, 1932, inGeneseo. She died July 17, 1997.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Marietta) Donald Andrews ofBuda and Mrs. Clint (Roseann) Warren of Geneseo; three sons, Ronald(Margaret) Coppejans of Annawan and Arthur (Janet) Coppejans and James(Darlene) Coppejans, both of Geneseo; 15 grandchildren; 29great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He waspreceded in death by his parents, four sisters and a brother.
He was a lifelong farmer in the Atkinson, Buda, Galva and Geneseoareas, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Catholic Order ofForresters.
