    • SOURCE: "James Blair and his family started for America, but on theway he was taken sick of ship fever and died. His body was cart intothe sea." "According to the record of Annie Love Blair in January1894."
      Written by Bessie Blair in June 1988. [Transcribed 17 June 2006,SLJuhl, compiler] There isn't any indication, in the portion of AnnieLove Blair's record that we do have, that any of James' siblings orparents made the voyage to America along with James Blair's family.More research is required to continue to confirm the family'sinformation. To date no differences have been found to the contraryof what has been recorded by the family members. SLJuhl, compiler, 17June 2006.
