Copies of the application for a marriage license and ElizabethWinter's father John Winter's consent is also available from the samesource, and also kept in the Redenbaugh Records. The application wasmade on the 25th of July 1851, and the consent by Elizabeth's fatherJohn Winter's since she was only 16 years old at the time was alsogiven the same day. Since Samuel was 21 years old, he did not have aconsent. The witness was a James Heaton on both forms. The countyclerk was James Lynn.
